Power Play :-)

This post is a dedication to all Badminton lovers. I happened to play the game this evening aftr so many years. Once u start playing the game, you get addicted ! It is always a good exercise. I started playing the game when I was strong enough to swing the rackets ie during my high school days. we had a good team around and we used to take turns and play singles as well as doubles accordingly, though the game we play is not the real one.

Have heard some refer to the sport as a pointless chase of cork and feather. But it is a gr8 sport that requires gr8 endurance, vigorus cardio motion, fast pace, strategic play, power, finesse, and technique. On top of that, i got a gr8 neighbour who shares the same interest with me. How can u not love it ? It is really a fun sport !!!!

Win-Win Scenario !

Striking a deal is not an easy job, but for a smart marketing personnel it's not a tough job @ all. Am talking about closing a major corporate deal today. wow !! Not bad, not bad at all ! In the process am learning effective negotiation strategies and influence tactics for every business situation from regular work enviornments to complex deal negotiations. Fighting for a deal is the greatest challenge in marketing. And when ur competent is equally strong, the experience is even more thrilling. Wow guys, i feel on top of the world. What are u waiting for ? U may pat me on my shoulder and appreciate me on a job well done!

Some days are just meant for u....and am proud to be here in the place meant just for me :-)

Yawn.... a boring day :-)

To my bad luck all the afternoon appointments got cancelled due to various reasons and here am sitting idle at my workplace listening to the rythm of rain outside. Have never felt so boring since I started working here. Ouch ! Thats in response to the huge thunder that just hit the earth. Anyways thanx to the boring day as I could atleast peep into my blog and drop in a line or two after so long. Friends, sorry for the long silence, it was not intentional. It is just that I got busy with work and home. Sorry again !

Made me feel better and rejuvenated

Overall I guess I am glad to have had such a boring day, so tht I cud bore you guys with my writing :-)

Catch the i...............

Too much to say, too much to talk abt, think abt and write too. To blog it all ….but then again I’m human and I’m afraid of being judged.

It’s really late ….except the whirrin of my pc, there is not a sound to be heard. I need to get up early to take my driving lessons. Inspite of owning a driving licence for a very long time I ‘ve never put my hands on the wheel. Never knew tht driving is sucha a demanding task. Especially during the rush hours my body start to tense up and my patience begin to dwindle. But with time I sure shall enhance my drving skills. Drivers, pls drop in ur tips for this starter ;-)

Anyways am enjoying zooming around on my i10 with the favorite music on or a radio station with soothing music, like how shahrukh khan is seen on the i10 advt. As the saying goes ..Grr8 minds think alike ? or act alike ? heehe

So finally, wear the seat belt, wish u guys a happy ‘n safe driving !!!

Valentine's Day Spl Gajar Ka Halwa !!

Ingredients:
Grated carrot 4 nos - medium size
Milk - 1/2 cup
Grated coconut(fresh) - 2 tbsp
Sugar - 10 tbsp
Ghee - 2 tbsp.
Dry fig fruit - 7 nos
Cardamom powder - 1/2 tsp.
Condensedmilk - 4tbsp

Method:
1. Saute grated carrot in ghee until raw smell disappears.
2. Add sugar, cardamom powder, chopped dry fig and continuously stir for 5-7 minutes.
3. Add milk and leave it closed for sometime.
4. Add grated coconut and condensed milk and keep stirring.
5. Decorate with remaining dry fruits and serve hot. (Optional- decorate with silver leaf).

Serve hot with vanilla icecream .
